What is the CSS MPT?
The MPT (MCQ-Based Preliminary Test) is a screening test held by the FPSC before the CSS written examination. Only candidates who qualify the MPT are allowed to apply for the CSS written exam.
When is the CSS 2027 MPT?

What are the MPT passing marks?
The pass mark is 66 out of 200, i.e. 33%. There is no negative marking, so every question is worth attempting.
Is the MPT score counted in the final CSS merit?
No. The MPT is a screening test only. Its score is valid for that year’s CSS competitive exam and is not added to the marks that determine your final merit position.
Does appearing in the MPT count as a CSS attempt?
No. Appearing in the MPT is not counted as one of your CSS chances.
How many questions is the MPT and how long is it?
